The IRCS secretary general in a meeting with his counterpart Mr. Zéadé Léonard Nioule, Secretary General of Ivory Coast Red Cross Society said “regarding the Ivory Coast Red Cross Society interest and also the extension of bilateral relations, the IRCS expresses its readiness to provide professional trainings specially the production of orthopaedic shoes, said Dr. Abbassi.
Based on the ten-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IRCS and Ivory Coast Red Cross, Dr. Abbasi reminded that IRCS established a medical centre in Ivory Coast in order to offer medical services to the needy and poor people.
Expressing the readiness of IRCS to continue the MOU and efforts to develop bilateral relations, he added “IRCS has great potential to cooperate in health, medical and rehabilitation fields.”
The IRCS secretary General, also mentioned “professional training is one of the articles that has less been taken into consideration; considering Ivory Coast Red Cross interest to develop relations, IRCS expresses its readiness to provide training specially the production of orthopaedic shoes.”
Secretary General of Ivory Coast Red Cross pointed that the IRCS is one of the powerful societies and Iranian Red Crescent Society medical centre in Ivory Coast has a remarkable activity and there is a need to have your experience in training.”
He also added that cooperation with IRCS is unexampled and despite of having the activities and relations of Ivory Coast Red Cross with French Red Cross and Dutch Red Cross, the exchange of experience especially in training with the IRCS will be effective in development fields.
The meetings of two Secretary Generals took place here in Tehran on Sunday 10/2/2013.
