Highlights

  • Prime Minister Nicolas Tiangaye forms a new national unity government composed of 34 members of the Seleka, civil society actors and various opposition groups.
  • President Djotodia requests humanitarian assistance and calls on Central Africans to return to work.
  • Electricity and water supply restored in most neighborhoods in Bangui.
  • Health needs are critical. There is urgent need for medical supplies to treat 200 in- patients in need of surgery.
