(6th May, 2013) - Three people are reported dead and seventy more are receiving treatment of meningitis in Malakal Teaching Hospital in Upper Nile State.
The State’s Health Minister, Charles Yor Odhok, said ten centers have been identified for the meningitis vaccination. “We have seven health centers functioning in the town and then we will establish other three places in the sites which were known to citizens through the malaria campaign last year. We have one in Hai Tenmaia, Hai Salam and Hai Mathar,” he told Radio Miraya on Thursday.
