IDP population in Goma is reducing due to some return movements, with OCHA reporting 129,000 people still in sites around the town.
540 schools have been attacked by armed groups and forces in North Kivu as of 27 November, an increase of 48% since August.
Registration of unaccompanied/separated children continued in 7 tracing points around Goma. So far 335 children (196 girls) have been registered.
UNICEF’s Rapid Response to Movement of Population (RRMP) partners Solidarités and NRC have now completed a blanket NFI distribution consisting of soap and collapsible Jerry cans to IDPs across all sites in and around Goma. A total of 22,249 families (estimated 111,245 individuals) were assisted.
In collaboration with the provincial medical partners UNICEF is sending Ringer Lactate for cholera treatment to Minova; 230 litres have been sent (sufficient for 23-28 cases); additional shipments are planned in the coming days.
