II. UPDATES TO THE SITUATION REPORT (As of 16 December 2012, 5:00 AM)
• DPWH XI provided dump trucks for the transportation of assorted relief goods to different affected areas.
• AFP-EASTMINCOM provided trucks for the transportation of non-food items to the municipality of New Bataan, Cornpostela Valley.
• DOH-CHD X provided chlorination of water pumps, IEC and distribution of 100 water kits and hygiene kits at Boston, Davao Oriental. Additional 546 hygiene kits and water kits were provided in Boston, Davao Oriental by DSWD and UNICEF.
• DOH-CHD XI provided 100 PHC at Compost°la and New Bataan in Compostela Valley, and 16,000 aquatabs at Laak in Compostela Valley, Kapalong and Asuncion in Davao del Norte.
• DOH-CHD XII provided 269 jerry cans with 72 hyposol bottles, 1,297 tarps for latrines and 100 PHC at Cateel, Davao Oriental.
• MMDA provided one (1) unit of Water Purification System to the municipality of Cateel, Davao Oriental.
• DTI issued and published Price Ceiling Advisory on 12 December 2012 to calamity affected areas and conducted Diskwento Caravan held last 08 December 2012 in Comval Province.
• PCG SARV-3504 transported fifty (50) persons and 300 sacks of assorted relief goods; and SARV-003 transported relief goods from DSWD for the municipalities of Baganga, Cateel and Boston.
• DOH conducted Briefing of Response team from the other Regions for deployment to Compostela, Monkayo and New Bataan and a meeting with the new partner from Australia that will provide assistance in water quality monitoring.
• DOH WASH Team conducted cluster meeting with UNICEF, ADRA, PhiIs., CRS, World Vision, ACF, WHO, PRC, HRC/OXFAM).
• DSWD reported ongoing construction of bunkhouses in the hardest hit areas of Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley for the temporary shelters for homeless families.
