A U.S. medical team of Global Health Outreach (GHO), is providing health service to needy in Debreberhan Town and its environs in Amhara State free of charge, town health station head Sister Tigist Haregeweyn said. The 12-member team is providing a ten day service to the public beginning from last Monday. The Head said so far more than 750 of the planned over 2500 persons have benefited from the service. Surgical, neurological and dental treatments are among the various health services being provided to the public. The team will also provide capacity building training to professionals. Team coordinator GHO Director, Samuel Molind on part said that the organization given prime attention to destitute children, women and elders.
