NAY PYI TAW, 14 Sept-Under the supervision of Rakhine State Health Department, malaria specialist, 10 staff of Rakhine State and township malaria control squads, 10 member of Myanmar Red Cross Bridge and six health assistants from Myanmar Health Assistant Association fumigated tents and buildings at the relief camps for prevention against malaria in Sittway Township from 1 to 10 September.
The squads sprayed anti-fumigation at 149 sheds, 1434 rooms, 1369 tents and 388 other buildings ay relief camps in Mingan, Thetkebyin, Bawdupha, Thechaung, Kaungdokkha, Dahpaing and Danyawady camps in Sittway Township of Rakhine State for 15023 people from 2707 households.
They also gave malaria care services to the local people.
Members of the squad continues fumigation and malaria care services.-MNA
